Gunning line is inspired by Guccio Gucci’s initials. They were used for the first time in the 1960s as a bag fastening, which was designed and forged in the Gucci atelier in Via delle Caldaie in Florence. It was soon transposed into diverse forms, combined with different patterns and became one of Gucci’s most recognizable symbols transmitting to the front row seat the power of the brand’s heritage and glamour.
