Pilot's Watch Chronograph edition Mojave Desert TOP GUN
Ceramic ,
Rubber Strap
The sand-coloured ceramic was inspired by the Mojave Desert, where the
China Lake Naval Air Weapons Station – the US Navy's largest single
landholding – is located. The colour, which perfectly matches the flying
suits of the Navy's pilots, results from a combination of zirconium
oxide with other metallic oxides. Limited to 500 pieces, this striking
chronograph is powered by the IWC-manufactured 69380 calibre. Apart from
its stopwatch function, the classic column wheel chronograph movement
has displays for the day and date. The bidirectional pawl-winding system
builds up a power reserve of 46 hours. The chronograph, which has a
dark brown dial, has a beige rubber strap.
